Create a custom role

In Livefield, you could create create a custom role. You could create custom role based on the position / designation in the company.

What to know

  • On the Web: Open Project. People > Manage Role > +Create Role
  • In the App: Open Project. Files > Tap + icon

On the Web

  1. Open the project and select People from Sidebar.
  2. Click Manage role button placed on the top right portion of toolbar.
  3. You could see the list of all the roles created in the project along with default role. Click on +Create Role button placed on the top right portion of the toolbar.
  4. Enter the new role name and give the permission you want to give to the new role. Click on +Create Role to create the role.

In the App

  1. Open the project and select People from Sidebar.
  2. Click on more button in the top app bar and select role managment.
  3. Tap +Add Role button placed at the bottom.
  4. Enter the role name and give the permission you want to give to the new role. Click on Save to create the role.

Change role permission

To change the role permission, instead of clicking on Create Role, click on the existing role you want to change. Please note that, you could not change default role i.e. Admin, Member and Follower.
